Acceptable Use Policy
What you can't do with SafetyDocs, including faking signatures and safety records, misusing templates and contact details, and how to report a problem.
Dernière mise à jour : 2 November 2026
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses SafetyDocs, including people on a job without an account. People rely on safety documents to stay safe, so we take it seriously.
Keep records honest
You must not:
- sign for someone else, or show that someone read or agreed to something when they didn't
- add someone to a job or a document when they weren't involved
- upload or approve a ticket, licence, insurance certificate or permit you know is fake, altered, expired or someone else's
- use someone else's name, account or code, or let someone use yours
- change a document or a record so it misleads people about what was agreed or what the work involves
- pretend to be another person or business, or to be connected with us when you aren't
If you sign someone on in person, they must be there, and must sign for themselves.
Use templates fairly
You must not resell or publish our templates, pass them to another business to use as its own, or use them to build a competing product. Our Terms of Service set out what you can do with them.
Respect other people
You must not:
- add or share anything that's unlawful, threatening, harassing or defamatory, or that invades someone's privacy
- post photos of people's injuries or personal documents, unless the job truly needs them
- add or share anything you don't have the right to share
- collect or share workers' or contacts' details beyond what your work needs
- ask for credentials the work doesn't need, or use someone's credentials for anything other than checking them for that work
- use invitations, reminders, shares, emails or texts to send spam, advertising, or anything people didn't expect from your job
- punish someone for raising an issue or a safety concern in SafetyDocs
- abuse or threaten our team
Respect the service
You must not:
- break into, disable or get around SafetyDocs's security, or get into accounts or data that aren't yours
- upload viruses or other harmful files
- overload or disrupt SafetyDocs, or use it in a way that harms it for others
- copy, scrape or bulk-download SafetyDocs or the template library, including to train AI models, except with a normal browser for your own use, or through an API we've given you
- get around plan limits, allowances, offers or discounts, such as by creating several organisations to avoid paying
- resell SafetyDocs, or use it to build something that competes with it
Good-faith security research is welcome if you follow the rules on our Security page.
Don't break the law
You must not use SafetyDocs to do anything illegal, or to help someone else do it. That includes fraud, and anything that breaks work health and safety laws or privacy laws.
What happens if someone breaks this policy
We may investigate, remove or disable content, limit features, or suspend or close the account or organisation, as our Terms of Service describe. We'll try to tell you first, unless the risk or the law means we can't. We may also tell the police, a regulator, or the organisation affected, where it's reasonable to do so.
Reporting a problem
If you see something that breaks this policy, email support@safetydocs.app. If you think a document on your job is unsafe, also tell your supervisor or your work health and safety regulator. For a security problem, email security@safetydocs.app.
Changes
We may update this policy. If a change materially affects you, we'll tell you as our Terms of Service describe.
