EWP, Boom, Cherry Picker and Scissor Lift

SWMS · SWMS-10515

  • 12 job steps
  • Version 8
  • Working at Height
  • Reads on any phone

This SWMS covers work from elevating work platforms (EWPs): scissor lifts, boom lifts, cherry pickers, articulating booms and vertical lifts.

It takes your crew through 12 job steps, from a falls emergency rescue plan and assessing the site to delivering and setting up the EWP, working from the platform, fuelling and recharging, packing up and emergency response.

It covers the high-risk construction work involved (falls, work near energised electrical lines, mobile plant and flammable atmospheres), as well as slips and trips, manual tasks, fuel and battery acid, sun exposure and the environment.

It suits construction workers, supervisors and safety officers, and trades that use EWPs, such as painting, plastering, shop fitting, electrical, plumbing and window cleaning.
