The Manual Handling Discomfort Survey helps businesses identify and address potential musculoskeletal issues in the workplace. By using it, organisations can proactively assess tasks that may cause discomfort and implement changes to enhance worker safety and comfort.

For a named task and its location, it records when workers experience discomfort (during the task, for some time after, the following day or several days after), what the discomfort is, where on the body it occurs, on a body chart, how bad it is on a scale of 1 to 5, and what contributes to it.
